  • More Caps and Gowns Project
UPDATE:  RAMS has a 6th grade mentoring program currently taking place every Thursday from 11:00 – 12:30.  Community members and Penn State Behrend students are the mentors to twenty 6th grade mentees.  If you are interested in becoming a mentor please contact Dave Ashton, assistant principal at RAMS. Below is a quick video showcasing the program.

The GSD, the United Way and Penn State Behrend have come together to provide a mentoring program for twenty six graders at RAMS. Our current goal for the program is to improve academic, behavioral and social behaviors with these particular students by making a connection with a caring adult. The long term goal is to increase HS graduation rates and for students to continue their educational pathways after HS.
Click the link if you are interested in learning more information about the More Caps and Gowns Project and becoming a community mentor.
