For every yearbook purchased, from now until April 30, 2013 you will earn a chance to win a 32 inch flat screen TV.     Infinite campus will be down temporarily on Saturday, March 23rd from 7:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.  Once the service comes back online the link to access the site will be different.  The new link for students and parents is: https://campus.gsd.k12.pa.us/campus/portal/girard.jsp . If you currently have bookmarks set on your browser or shortcuts on your desktop please be sure to change them.  The links within the site will be changed during the downtime.  Directions for linking your phone can be found here.

  • Hive of Fame 2nd Annual Dinner
    It is with great honor and excitement that the Girard School District Foundation announces the  second class of distinguished alumni being inducted into the Girard School District Hive of  Fame. The honorees include: CDR D. Alan Kuntz, USN (Retired); LT COL Bonnie Lowe, US  Army; Curt Miller; Fire Chief Lori Miller (Retired); CAPT Erika Sauer, USN; the 1943-1946  Football and Basketball teams; and the late Harry Joslin. These Girard School District alumni will be honored for their achievements at an induction ceremony and dinner to be held Saturday,  April 20, 2013 at the Bel-Aire Clarion Hotel. Registration and cash bar is at 6:00 p.m. with  dinner at 7:00 p.m. Reservation forms are available at the Girard School District Administration  Office, 1203 Lake Street, Girard and at Great Lakes Driftwood Gallery, 145 Main Street, Girard.  Tickets are $35 per person and family, friends and community are encouraged to attend. Mark  your calendars for Saturday, April 20, 2013 for an evening you will not want to miss!!

  • FREE TAX PREPARATION
    Free tax preparation at a VITA site is available to tax filers with 2012 household incomes of $51,000 or less.  Erie FREE Taxes will begin to open their free tax sites during the week of Jan. 28th.  Call 1-888-829-5680 to make an appointment at the VITA site nearest you.

Our PreK-12 district is locat
ed in Girard, PA. While we may be a rural school in a small hometown, our educational system offers all the big-city amenities, including: technology, all day kindergarten, and vocational education programs.
