  • RAPTOR VISITOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The Girard School District is pleased to announce that we will begin using the Raptor Visitor Management System in all of our district schools to build on the district’s program of campus safety for students and faculty. Part of keeping students and faculty safe is knowing who is in our building at all times and the Raptor system will allow us to do that. The Raptor system will better allow us to track visitors, contractors, and volunteers in our schools and provide us with a safer environment for our students and staff. For more information please see the RAPTOR page.

  • More Caps and Gowns Project

The GSD, Erie Together and Penn State Behrend have come together to provide a mentoring program for six graders at RAMS. Our current goal for the program is to improve academic, behavioral and social behaviors with these particular students by making a connection with a caring adult. The long term goal is to increase high school  graduation rates and for students to continue their educational pathways after high school. Click the link if you are interested in learning more information about the More Caps and Gowns Project and becoming a community mentor.
