It is with great honor and excitement that the Girard School District Foundation announces the second class of distinguished alumni being inducted into the Girard School District Hive of Fame. The honorees include: CDR D. Alan Kuntz, USN (Retired); LT COL Bonnie Lowe, US Army; Curt Miller; Fire Chief Lori Miller (Retired); CAPT Erika Sauer, USN; the 1943-1946 Football and Basketball teams; and the late Harry Joslin. These Girard School District alumni will be honored for their achievements at an induction ceremony and dinner to be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Bel-Aire Clarion Hotel. Registration and cash bar is at 6:00 p.m. with dinner at 7:00 p.m. Reservation forms are available at the Girard School District Administration Office, 1203 Lake Street, Girard and at Great Lakes Driftwood Gallery, 145 Main Street, Girard. Tickets are $35 per person and family, friends and community are encouraged to attend.
